My family

For those of you that don't already know, my brother in law Randy, passed way from head injuries on October 9. He fought so hard and is now at rest. We will all grieve differently and all miss him terribly. He was funny, charming, intelligent and my husband's best friend. Again, to provide privacy to the family, I will spare details, but please keep Randy's family in your prayers. Our children have shown strength and understanding in losing their loving uncle, but seem so sad still. I think Kaden is able to tell that everyone around him is mourning the loss of Randy. He tries to snuggle up to Daddy and has the most simple way of easing some of the pain with his kisses and hugs. He is at a standstill right now with his development, but his therapists and Dr.'s said that is to be expected. However his fine motor skills seem to be regressing and he is still having apnea. He also has had two scary episodes of changing color and acting like he's choking. One of the episodes happened in front of half of his health care team and they actually were able to see first hand what these episodes look like. We are not sure what is causing this. He pulled out his G-tube the other night and handed it to Daddy with the balloon still inflated. Brian and I had to act very quickly to get it back in. He is now fighting a fever, but we don't know what it is from. He has another sleep study on Tuesday to address some of these strange issues. I will update again soon.
