What's up with his belly?

Kaden is doing quite well today. His bowels are a bit sluggish, but he is a little more himself which is a good sign. His heart rate is still too darn high as is his blood pressure, but again we're told that his autonomic system is just plain haywire. They've been bringing students by to observe Kaden and get to know more about his disorder because it is indeed very rare. Yesterday they attempted to turn down his oxygen and we were very excited, but it didn't last. He's right back up to were he was at home. Today I'm praying for endurance and perserverance. Unfortunately it was brought to my attention last night that Kaden's primary night nurse switched to days on another case. So....again...I'm without a night nurse. The agency may have someone for Kaden, but it will really conflict with her personal life to stay on nights and she was hoping to switch to days. Please pray that we find another good night nurse for Kaden. It looks like we have a good day team now...only time will tell. We're hoping to come home tomorrow. The docs here think we may be pushing it a bit, but Kaden will let us know when he's ready I'm sure. He's very good at expressing his needs. We just need to get him poopin!
